Class Conference Information
The class conference is where you will discuss with your classmates the ideas you have read about and experienced as you worked on the projects for the class. This is the location for most of the online discussion we will be doing. To read and post to this conference, you must use your browser and come to the class website, so that you can click on the Class Conference link.
During the first week of the semester, please register for our class conference. To do so, follow these directions:
- Choose Class Conference from the menu at the right or from the main menu on the left of this page.
- Next click on "Register" in the list of options at the top of the page right under the heading that says "Mary O'Sullivan's Class Forums."
- When prompted to prove you are over 13, choose the top option that says you are. (I am trying to get rid of this step, but have not yet figured out how to do so.)
- Fill in the user id, email, and password information in the first section.
- In the second section, you may fill in information, but please DO fill in the signature block option with your real name, so people will know who is making the posts.
- Scroll through the last section, leaving the settings as they are, and click on the submit button.
- Finally, choose your class forum. You will be prompted to log-in. Fill in the user id and password you just created in your registration process.
